27 year old Buenos Aires based DJ. Influenced by Indie Dance, Progressive House, Deep House and Techno. Still looking for a sound.

AGENTS OF CHAOS

Experience the Sound

When did you start DJing?

I bought a DDj 400 (all in one controller) in July 2023, took some lessons (4 or 5) in 2023 but officially my first course was in January 2024 at Escuela Sonica. After that, I took more courses at Sonica, Arjaus (another djing school), and I am still going to private lessons (digital and vinyl). There is always something new to learn in mixing and each teacher has his style.

What track changed everything for you? / What’s your biggest source of inspiration? (The one that made you say “this is it.”)

The first track that blew my mind live was a remix of “The Sound Of Violence - Cassius”, played by Marco Carola at The Bow, Buenos Aires, December 2016. It was the first time I fell in love with a track. As it was a remix and social media was not the thing it is today, I don’t have a video or a post where I can find the remix. However, I have 4 versions of the track on my computer.

I have 2 sources of inspiration: music and moments. The first one is easy to explain, although the second one I still find hard to express. Sometimes I am in the car, at a club, eating, and a sound or a song comes to me. For example, coming home from work or university, I say, “this track may sound good in this situation”, “I have to make something with this sound”.

Describe your sound in 3 words (No pressure.)

Rare, timeless, complex (& wide)

One artist who’s always in your sets?

Peces Raros, an electronic-rock Argentinian band (similar to Rufus Du Sol).

What’s your go-to outfit for a show? (Details, please.)

I always wear 100% black except my socks that can have colours. Usually jeans but maybe a cargo pant. For the upper part, I can use a shirt, probably a long sleeve with a (not skinny) black jean, or a t-shirt, sometimes oversized, sometimes regular. I rarely use printed shirts. Depending on the outfit, shoes (Black Nike AirForce) or Black boots (Dr Martens or Zara). I have certain limitations as I am vegan and I can’t buy leather anymore. I do regularly use grey or black caps. I even have some personalized caps. My jewelry consists in a silver bracelet and a silver necklace, but sometimes I forget to put them on 🙂

To finish with this question, 95% of the time, I go out with a cross-body fanny pack

Do you dress to blend in or stand out? (And why?)

In 2025, simplicity and sobriety stand out in a classic way. I try to stand out by being simple and true to my style throughout the years. People only see me with vibrant colours 1 or 2 times a year.

What’s one non-negotiable before you hit the stage? (A ritual, a snack, a moment?)

1) Going to the bathroom 5-15 minutes before starting

2) Only water and coffee before playing (I don’t drink alcohol while playing or before that)

3) Having 5/10 minutes alone to think about the first 2 or 3 track

What inspires your style off-stage?(Street, vintage, trends, whatever.)

I try not to copy anyone or follow trends. I changed my style by buying more oversized clothes but apart from that, I have not changed that much in the last few years. With my hair I am always against trends and I do whatever I want when I arrive at the barber shop.

What do you wish more people understood about being a DJ? (Give us the real talk.)

I wish people understood djs can have a bad day like a footballer or even us at work. And as djing is an art (for me at least it is), crowd taste should not define the talent, passion and effort a dj puts in order to give a good performance. Two people in the same room may disagree about one set or even the same person could like or not a set depending on his mood that night. In addition to this, there are many factors that the dj can’t control (sound system, forcing him to adapt his sound, lights, visuals, crowd, prices, the previous and following djs, the weather).

If your sound had a color, what would it be?(And why?)

Dark Cherry Red. Let’s begin with the easiest part of the answer: the red. It is a provocative colour and one of my goals while playing is to provoke or to generate a certain feeling or emotion (humor, happiness, introspection). Why cherry? Because there are multiple reds, but for me, cherry is the most distinctive apart from regular red. It is sensual (I use it on many vocals in my sets) and a little invasive. And dark because of my deeper and underground side.
