AGENTS OF CHAOS

Experience the Sound

When did you start DJing?

If you want the honest insane answer? I learned to DJ only 8 months ago by entering a competition called YourShot. Before that, I had been in music as a song writer and vocalist since 2020.

What track, moment, or influence changed everything for you? / What’s your biggest source of inspiration?  (The one that made you say “this is it.”)

As a vocalist, my first major label cut with the song ‘See You Go’ with Moore Kismet. Which I got to perform at HARD Summer in front of thousands of people. That really is what changed the projection of my career. After that, I’d say in my opinion-doing the YourShot DJ competition and getting runner up out of hundreds of people. To go from not knowing anything, to playing a major competition show in just 6 weeks is insane. 2 weeks later I had a manager, now I’m playing multiple festivals.. it’s just been insanely rapid and affirming that this is what I’m supposed to be doing and that I’m good at my passion.

Describe your sound or artistic style in 3 words.

My sound as a vocalist & writer is emotional relatable toplines that align with the DJs project/vision. My DJ project is my own toplines mixed in with DnB/Bass music that you want to dance to.

What’s your go-to outfit for a show? (Details, please.)

I love my oversized graphic tees, hair in space buns, baggy jeans or a black leather skirt, lots of heavy chains/jewelry, and sneakers that support my back issues lol

Do you dress to blend in or stand out? (And why?)

I dress to stand out. As a female if I wanted to blend in, I’d wear more revealing girly clothing. But that’s just not where I feel comfortable or safe.

What’s one non-negotiable before you hit the stage? (A ritual, a snack, a moment?)

Lemon Lime Electrolit, possibly a margarita & definitely a snack

One or two artist who are always in your sets or you always come back to for inspiration.

That’s a tough one because I go off of what sounds good in the mix. Of course there’s artists I love/listen to but that doesn’t mean they go well in my mix. I’m big on things blending really well together, not if I like the song. It’s more important for my set to sound good and get people dancing!

What inspires your style off-stage?(Street, vintage, trends, whatever.)

I love street style, I love experiencing life, I love laughing. That’s pretty must what keeps me going.

What do you wish more people understood about being a DJ? (Give us the real talk.)

We really struggle sometimes behind the scenes. I battle my metal health more than people realize because it’s a private thing I’ve dealt with all my life. The imposter syndrome really has a weight on me sometimes even if I know that I’m great at what I do and I can hold space in the scene. What helps my mental health, is being kind to others. I love helping people and boosting their confidence even when I have a hard time doing it for myself.

If your sound had a color, what would it be?(And why?)

Think shades of Hawaii

What do you represent?

I represent authenticity and no matter what room I walk into, you’ll never have to question who I am or what my intentions are. I want people to feel safe with me right off the bat. I guess my whole artist project is about being yourself and belonging.
