AGENTS OF CHAOS

Experience the Sound

When did you start DJing?

I started djing as a bedroom dj with a Pioneer SB3 I bought from a neighbor of mine at the time. It wasn’t until November 2022 that I had my 1st Club booking.

What track changed everything for you? / What’s your biggest source of inspiration? (The one that made you say “this is it.”)

It wasn’t a track that changed things for me and got me into djing, it was actually dj’s who did that. Listening to sets from artists like Kream and watching performances from artists like James Hype that pushed me into becoming an artist and not just another dj.

Describe your sound in 3 words (No pressure.)

Energetic, Trance, Vibe.

One artist who’s always in your sets?

This is somewhat of a revolving door because it changes as my music taste changes and I discover new artists but Surf Mesa and Marco Strous are two artists who are pretty consistently in my sets lately.

What’s your go-to outfit for a show? (Details, please.)

White or Black T with acid washed or faded black jeans. Usually wear a jacket that helps me stand out and I love F1 or Motorcycle racing gear.

Do you dress to blend in or stand out? (And why?)

I definitely stand out from the crowd but not in an over-the-top way. I’d probably describe my style as fun but clean cut. Comfortable but not messy.

What’s one non-negotiable before you hit the stage? (A ritual, a snack, a moment?)

Jaguar-bomb, def Jaguar-bomb or a couple of Celsius’s if I’m not drinking

What inspires your style off-stage?(Street, vintage, trends, whatever.)

I love to wear brands that I use or from things I’m into. For example I love wearing headliner music club and F1 racing merch but regardless of if I’m performing or not I want people to view me as an artist, so my style is my style whether I’m on the main stage or at the grocery store.

What do you wish more people understood about being a DJ? (Give us the real talk.)

Dj’s aren’t order takers, we don’t work for the venue, and we’re not your personal jukebox. We’re hired by the venue to come and perform because we play a specific type of music as artists. So, if I’m playing a specific type of music (let’s say dance music and you want to hear hip-hop or pop), it’s pretty safe to say I’m not just going to switch up the vibe and play a completely different genre because you want to hear one song. Especially if everyone else is dancing and having a great time and it’s completely obvious that I’m performing which most of the time it usually is.

If your sound had a color, what would it be?(And why?)

f I had to pick one I’d say green because to me green represents growth, change and the ability to adapt.
